"Was the ONLY NOVA location to offer care to my dog on a walk in basis / same day. I booked with Clarendon animal care and arrived 3 minutes late due to traffic and they would not even let me in the door (I told them my dog was having trouble breathing - didn't seem to matter to them). I went to another vet in desperation, they were kind but indicated the doctor was with another patient and it was the end of their day and THEY recommended me to Urgent Animal Care.So other vets recommend this place lol.Saw Dr Abajo and Eli. They were gentle with my dog and straightforward and good with me as well. They listened carefully to my intake answers, and recommended things for her to help with diagnosis. They *correctly* diagnosed her with aspiration pnuemonia, showed me the x rays and why they came to that conclusion. Ruled out other potential issues, and then sent me home with fluids, anti-nausea meds, and antibiotics. When my dog took as described, she got better. They also provided all the documentation in a follow up. Excellent care. Were open and available when I needed them. Correctly diagnosed the issue without a lot of extra cost or procedures. Explained to me my options, the cost, and why at every stage. Gave me the right meds immediately. My dog got better. Will always come back to them for urgent care needs, and I recommend you do too."
